Eastern Weft’s Products

Laos is one of the most culturally diverse countries on the planet with more than sixty ethnic groups, each with their own textile heritage, including ikat, embroidery, applique, batik and backstrap loom. Our motivation is to create luxurious hand woven fabrics by building on these exceptional and distinctive Lao textile traditions.

Interiors
Our textiles are very versatile, they can be used as table runners, wall hangings, throws or placed across the bed. (place mats and cushions are available on request)

Scarves and shawls
Only a limited number is produced in each design. Each scarf is an individual as we make sure no two items have the same colour combinations. Every piece is as unique each owner.

Minority Kids
Dresses, skirts and shirts for girls aged 2-8.
Soft toys, bedspreads, cushions and pillows.
Our Minorities Kids label is based on designs inspired by traditional ethnic minorities within Laos, these are made from fabric samples, remnants and vintage textiles—these items are truly unique.
